They elements of the crime story, such as the quest for truth or the urge to cross the boundaries of the moral and just, serve literary authors as well as the ones writing strictly genre fiction. One trait of crime fiction is to use it as a tool of social investigation and as such it easily crosses over to non-fictional writing. The workshop will explore the boundaries of true and invented crimes and what form of expression suites them best.
