Since I believe that all prose, fiction or nonfiction, even journalism, succeeds or fails on the strength of its story telling, I think it is worthwhile to set aside some time to reflect on stories. What makes a good story work? What contributes to good story telling and what impedes it? This is not a lecture but a participatory workshop. Those wanting to participate should bring a story that they have written — a maximum of three paragraphs long but shorter if you can. And we will talk about story telling.
