We’ve once again partnered with Iceland Travel to offer one person a free spot at the Iceland Writers Retreat in April 2018. The winner will receive the full retreat package, including a free hotel stay, tours, most meals, and all workshops for the duration of the event, from 11 to 15 April, 2018.*
The deadline to submit an entry is 23:59 (GMT) Sunday, November 12, 2017. There is no fee to enter. Click here to enter.
Waterfalls: This year’s essay theme is waterfalls. Write a max 500-word essay, story or poem on this theme. Given that our competition is sponsored by Iceland Travel, and the prize is to attend the Iceland Writers Retreat, we also recommend that you mention Iceland somewhere in your entry.
Our judging panel will select one winning entry. Judges will be looking for creativity, originality, and style.
People who have already registered to attend the Iceland Writers Retreat are also welcome to apply. If the winner has already registered, his or her payment will be refunded.
Deadline: 23:59 (GMT) Sunday, November 12, 2017
Entries will be judged anonymously.
